Polyfx® ideal for residential projects for functionality. Polyfx® is a lightweight but highly durable knitted fabric designed for long term UV protection. Polyfx® has less shrinkage and is more stable than other shade net fabrics, while maintaining high strength and over 90% UV protection. It is made from virgin resins and the best UV stabilizers which are lead and heavy metal free.
Apart from the strength of the kitted constitution, the porous material allows the sail to ” breathe ” to preventing the air below from getting insufferably hot. This means air can circulate through the fabric to create a substantially cooler atmosphere below. With the heat from the Sun above and the cooler temp underneath, the air is automatically draw through the material.
